Position Number: 999972 School/Division: Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences-Humanties Description The Department of Music at Hofstra University invites applications for an adjunct faculty member to begin in the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be teaching bassoon lessons. Instruction consists of ten (10) one-hour lessons per student over the course of the 15-week semester. Additional responsibilities include adjudicating juries and recitals, participating in auditions, and assisting with recruitment activities for prospective students.
