Position Number: 999972 School/Division: Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences-Natural Science Description The Department of Psychology is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in the Spring 2027 semester which runs from 1/25/27 to 5/15/27. Instructors are needed to teach courses in the following areas: Introduction to Psychology laboratory, undergraduate statistics, graduate statistics, psychology and the law, lifespan development, and related courses. Successful applicants will demonstrate background training in the course relevant topic. For statistics, applicants must provide evidence of skills in that area. Psychology is one of the largest undergraduate majors at Hofstra. The Psychology department also administers the following graduate programs: Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology, PsyD. in School-Community Psychology, MA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and Ph. D. in Applied Organizational Psychology. Qualifications Applicants are expected to have: Completed a Master's degree Successful applicants will demonstrate background training in the course relevant topic. For statistics, applicants must provide evidence of skills in that area.
