Position Description Posting Number 201200972P Position Title Adjunct Faculty, Music Department School of Design, Arts, and Communication: Bands Position Summary Adjunct faculty at Stevenson University will engage in teaching activities in accordance with the University’s Faculty Workload. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching courses in the Music Department, including general education music courses and vocal or instrumental ensembles. Education/Experience Master’s degree in Musicology, Music Education, or Music, and a strong commitment to quality teaching. Two years of college level teaching experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Doctorate in music preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Ability Knowledge of music history, research, and education trends Demonstrated teaching ability
