Role Description: We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach English Language Studies (English as a Second Language) in the 12-Week semester which starts on 9/23. Positions are expected to be available in the day and at night on the Main Campus in Paterson. Examples of Duties: • Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi. • Meet all scheduled class sessions. • Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems. • Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program. • Utilize the appropriate technology, including Blackboard (the College's student learning platform), to fulfill teaching duties. Qualifications: • Master's degree in ESL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or related field. • Experience teaching academic ESL to diverse populations. • Experience teaching adult learners preferably at a community college.
