If you are a dedicated and certified EMS-I Instructor who strives to put students first, DCCC has a place for you! Delaware County Community College Workforce Economic Development division in conjunction with the Emergency Services Education Department is seeking EMT and Paramedic Instructors to teach our EMS courses. Essential Functions Essential DutiesAttend scheduled Adjunct Faculty Orientation and/or pre-semester meetings prior to the start of the respective semester. Complete required training and submit any required paperwork. Provide direct supervision and instruction of students in the respective non-suppression setting. Provide feedback to the EMT/CPR and/or Paramedic Education Coordinators throughout the semester regarding the students' strengths, weaknesses, progress with psychomotor skills, and areas for improvement. Complete required and anecdotal documentation as indicated. Communicate with the EMT/CPR and/or Paramedic Education Coordinators regarding any questions or issues related to the clinical setting, including student evaluation if indicated. Meet contractual obligations for each scheduled class day and time. Prior to the start of the semester, provide availability and confirm teaching assignments with the EMT/CPR and/or Paramedic Education Coordinators. Communicate with the EMT/CPR and/or Paramedic Education Coordinators regarding specifics of course instruction.
