FLSA: Exempt Contract Length: N/A Class Summary: College of the Mainland is currently seeking an Adjunct Business Instructor for face-to-face instruction. Position Type: Adjunct Position Funding: Regular Minimum Education/Training/Experience Master's Degree in Business.Preferred Education/Training/Experience MBA, or Doctorate Degree in BusinessMinimum Knowledge & Skills Ability and willingness to teach face-to-face courses. Courses are offered during the day and in the evening. Principles and practices of teaching; detailed knowledge of material being taught in the specific course and program area;communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with students, coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction;basic computer literacy sufficient to perform job duties;knowledge of student engagement techniques, learning styles, retention strategies, and learning-centered philosophy; experience with or willingness to learn the latest teaching/learning technologies and online instruction; and record keeping procedures.Preferred Knowledge & Skills noneJob Duties Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses as needed. Complete required census rosters and grade submissions.
