Teaching experience

I have over 12 years of experience in adult education, professional instruction, and workforce development. As an American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor and business owner of CPR & BLS Certification, I have conducted more than 700 training classes, teaching healthcare professionals, emergency responders, employees, and adult learners in CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), First Aid, and emergency response procedures. In addition to classroom instruction, I have experience mentoring and providing practical business training to interns in business administration and organizational leadership. Through my leadership roles in business operations, I have provided instruction and professional development in organizational management, workplace communication, leadership, and operational procedures. My Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Organizational Leadership and Development included graduate-level preparation in teaching business in higher education, adult learning principles, instructional planning, student assessment, and effective teaching strategies. My teaching approach emphasizes practical applications, interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and connecting academic concepts to professional experiences. I am prepared to deliver engaging guest lectures in business management, organizational leadership, human resources, entrepreneurship, healthcare leadership, and crisis communication.

Interests & speaking style

I am passionate about sharing knowledge, inspiring students, and connecting academic concepts to real-world professional experiences. With a Doctor of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and Development, graduate degrees in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, and over 12 years of professional teaching experience, I enjoy helping students understand how leadership, management, and business principles apply in today's workplace. My lecturing style is engaging, interactive, and practical. I incorporate real-world examples, case studies, thought-provoking questions, and open discussions to encourage critical thinking and student participation. I believe students learn best when they can connect classroom concepts to situations they may encounter in their careers. I am particularly interested in guest lecturing because it allows me to share my experiences as a business owner, organizational leader, and professional instructor while contributing to student learning and career development. I welcome opportunities to engage with undergraduate and graduate students through virtual lectures, classroom discussions, and professional development presentations.
