- I'm currently supporting in a Visiting Professor of Practice / Guest Faculty role for one of the leading Private Universities (SRM AP) in India. I had taken up Management courses for both Bachelors and Masters program in the University and predominantly for the School of Business. I had successfully handled two odd semesters in previous year (2024) as well as in the current year. Although I was a visiting faculty, I had to own it end-to-end starting from imparting the classes, providing class assignments, preparing the Internal and End exam question papers, evaluating the exam scripts, grading and finally guiding the students through some of the nuances etc., besides taking up the operational tasks such as tracking the students attendance and marks in the University proprietary ERP system etc. In addition to this, I also had the experience of conducting workshops in other University as well. Importantly, I also had the opportunity to host the 'Board of Studies' related meetings to review and make noticeable suggestions on the course curriculum etc.
- Interest & style
- Interest: I'm actually planning to take up Professorship as a full time career. Hence I'm utilizing the opportunity of imparting guest lecutures to strengthen my overall experience with teaching etc. Lecturing style: I would mostly prefer to do offline lectures by explaining the topics / course content with help of supporting powerpoint deck / case-study documents / References to articles etc., followed by brining in my Industry experience. I would always love to correlate the conceptual / theoritical topic to my real-time industry experience - that way I strongly believe students would be able to understand effectively. Other preferences: I'm seriously interested and very much inclinded to associate with the Business schools of the leading / top US Universities by way of offering these guest lectures. It is a definitely an opportunity for me to get benefitted through mutual learning.
