I also serve as Professional Development Director for the SHRM Georgia State Council and have served on Arabia Mountain High School’s CTAE advisory board for 14 years. Interests & speaking style
I enjoy helping students connect what they are learning in the classroom to the decisions, relationships, and challenges they will encounter at work. After more than two decades leading people and navigating organizational change, I have plenty of real-world stories, including moments when things did not go according to plan. My style is conversational, engaging, and practical. I use storytelling, reflection, discussion, and realistic scenarios to invite students into the learning. Whether we are exploring workplace culture, leading a team, or preparing for a first professional role, I want students to leave with a fresh perspective and something they can use. Guest lecturing is also an opportunity to help students see the many directions their education can take them and recognize the value of their own experiences.
