Job Summary: The Department of Pediatrics, Sie Center for Down Syndrome at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a part-time hourly Nurse Practitioner faculty member to support clinical research activities within the Sie Center for Down Syndrome. The Sie Center is part of the Neuroscience Institute at Children's Hospital Colorado, which also includes Child Neurology, Developmental Pediatrics, and Neurosurgery. The Sie Center serves individuals with Down syndrome across the lifespan from Colorado, the surrounding region, and beyond. The Nurse Practitioner will contribute to ongoing clinical and translational research efforts focused on improving the health and well-being of individuals with Down syndrome. Responsibilities may include supporting participant recruitment and enrollment, conducting research-related assessments, assisting with study visits, collecting clinical data, coordinating with investigators and research staff, and contributing clinical expertise to research protocols. This position will collaborate closely with physicians, psychologists, research coordinators, and other interdisciplinary team members to advance innovative research initiatives related to Down syndrome. Faculty members are expected to support the academic mission of the program through participation in research, scholarly activity, and dissemination of findings as appropriate. Work Location: Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.
