About this position

The Position: Visiting Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Business and Accounting Job Summary: Muhlenberg College, a leading liberal arts institution dedicated to student success and innovative education, invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position within the Accounting, Business, Economics, and Finance Department for the 2026-2027 academic year. We are seeking a passionate and qualified educator to join us beginning in the fall 2026 semester. Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching introductory courses in the business and accounting programs as well as core or elective courses in these programs (e.g. Cost/Managerial Accounting, Management) based on their areas of expertise. The teaching load will be 6 courses per academic year. Candidates must hold either (i) a Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field and a current CPA License OR (ii) a D.B.A. or Ph.D. in Business, or Ph.D. in a related field Application and Submission Instructions Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
