At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty, on a course basis each term, with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session.Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $4,500.00 per course. Adjuncts are not tenure-track, not a part of the faculty bargaining unit, and are not included in membership of Faculty Senate. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree in Physics or related field. Preferred QualificationsPhD in Physics Experience teaching college level Physics, including lab classes. Professional experience in Physics or a related field.
