Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,750.00 per course. Governors State University's College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach courses in our Division of Arts & Letters. At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjunct appointments are instructional in nature, not a part of the faculty bargaining unit, and not included in membership of the Faculty Senate. Essential Responsibilities The program seeks qualified Adjunct Faculty to teach courses. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree. Experience teaching undergraduate courses at an accredited institution. Preferred QualificationsDoctoral degree. Experience teaching online at an accredited institution.
