About this position

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, The incumbent will be responsible for leading the preparation and delivery of competency-based curriculum in areas of expertise, as assigned; curriculum refers to prepared lectures, seminars, problem-based learning, case studies, instruction, and advisory services through in-person and virtual (synchronous or asynchronous) delivery.Qualifications:Applicants must possess the following: • Master's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution of higher education (or international equivalent) in an appropriate social science or related discipline that is relevant to the DSCU mission. • Ten (10) years of experience with the practice, training, or study of security cooperation. • Experience in government, military, private sector, or academia shall be of sufficient depth or breadth as to establish professional expertise in leadership, management, planning, and execution tasks. • Significant intellectual contributions to practice in areas of expertise through developing or revising policy, doctrine, analytic, or instructional materials, publications in peer reviewed publications, or invited presentations to professional, public, or academic audiences. Education:"Incumbent must attain DoD security cooperation workforce certification and complete related continuous learning requirements in accordance with Section 384 of Title 10, United States Code, and in accordance with security cooperation certification program requirements established by DSCA."
