About this position
The Department of English and the Lewis Center for the Arts are seeking an outstanding tenured senior hire working in the field of drama broadly defined, including: the literature, history, practice, and theory of drama; dramatic criticism and the history of dramatic criticism; drama in relation to aesthetics and to other media; the theory and history of theatre and of theatrical performance. This is a joint position between the Theater and Music Theater Program of the Lewis Center for the Arts and the Department of English. Qualifications: In addition to an outstanding record of research and publication, the candidate will have evidence of dedication to teaching and advising both undergraduates and graduate students, and a willingness to serve as an active member of both English and the Lewis Center.
