Adjunct Faculty Political Science Department of Applied Sciences and Professional Studies UMGC Stateside Location: Quantico, VA *Classes are typically scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings, 6:00-9:00 or 6:30 - 9:30pm (EST). University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site at Quantico, VA, for the Political Science program. Required Education and Experience: A Masters degree in Political Science or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning Professional experience in Political Science, Application of Political Theory, American government, international relations, or related field Prior teaching experience required; Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred. This position is specifically to teach in Quantico, VA. Preferred Education and Experience: Professional experience in homeland security, counterterrorism, and related topics preferred. Professional experience in domestic governmental operations, administrative policy, and related topics preferred.
