Part Time Surgical Technology Instructor

Salary Range: $25 per hour Work Location: On-Site Campus Location: Southcentral Kentucky CTC - Main Campus Job Summary Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Part-Time Surgical Technology Instructor to bring real-world experience into the classroom and lab. This position will report to the Dean of Allied Health with a salary $25 an hour for a minimum of 15 hours per week to a maximum of 25 hours per week. Job Duties: Provide engaging classroom and/or laboratory instruction in Surgical Technology courses. Demonstrate and reinforce safe surgical practices, sterile technique, instrumentation, and surgical procedures. Provide hands-on instruction that connects classroom learning to real-world surgical practice. Evaluate student learning and provide constructive feedback. Promote professionalism, teamwork, patient safety, and critical thinking. Support and encourage students as they prepare to enter the Surgical Technology profession. Minimum Qualifications: Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Earned an Associate degree in Surgical Technology Minimum of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role, as an instructor in Surgical Technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years.
