Position Title: Part-Time Lecturer Pool, School of Pharmacy, 2026-2027 Location: Chapman University, Rinker Health Sciences Campus Department: School of Pharmacy Position Type: Part-Time Lecturer Qualifications: Required Terminal degree in area of expertise from an accredited institution (BPS and PHP applicants) Master's degree in area of expertise from an accredited institution, or appropriate professional equivalency (Regulatory Affairs program applicants) University teaching experience or related field experience Demonstrated currency in subject matter Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing. Strong commitment to student learning, quality teaching and academic excellence. Ability to motivate and teach students of diverse learning styles and backgrounds. Appreciation and respect for student role, contribution, and responsibility in the learning process. This position is contingent on final budget approval. Successful completion of a background check is required for all selected candidates. Description: Chapman University School of Pharmacy (CUSP) seeks applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool for potential teaching opportunities in the following areas/disciplines: Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (BPS) Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy (PEP/Regulatory Affairs) Pharmacy Practice (PHP) Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term, so applicants must be available at times on very short notice. Fall contracts begin in mid-August and end late-December; Spring contracts begin in late-December and end late-April. Summer contracts begin in late-April and end mid-August.
