Part - Time Instructor, JUMPSTART - Counseling & Retention Services - FY 2027 Job Description The College of Southern Nevada appreciates your interest in employment at our growing institution. Teach pre-approved CSN Jumpstart Classes at your high school in coordination with the CSN Dual Credit Office. Job DescriptionTeach (insert discipline - do not include course # just subject; i.e. EDU, ECE, GRC, etc) classes at your High School as part of CSN's Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program. Required Qualifications:Applicants must be pre-approved by the (insert department) and Office of Dual Credit & Early College Programming before submitting an application in Workday. Applications from individuals who have not been pre-approved will not be considered. Jumpstart Salary $1000.00 per class per semester Please Note: This job announcement is not an offer of employment. It will be open for a period of one year and has been established to collect a robust candidate pool for part-time positions that may become available within the designated discipline at CSN. If a part-time position becomes available within the discipline, the department will review the application material of the candidates who have applied and will invite select candidates to interview based on their qualifications. Should a candidate be selected for a part-time instructor position, no minimum course load is guaranteed and teaching assignments, if any, are contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, minimum student enrollment and/or department need. No reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided to local or out of area/out of state candidates and there is no guarantee of continued or future part-time and/or full-time employment.
