CST on the closing date. This employer participates in E-Verify. Position Summary: A-State invites applications for qualified, experienced part-time faculty. Part-time instructors are hired to teach on a per course basis. Each academic term may present the need to hire new or additional Adjunct Instructors. This position may require day, evening, face-to-face, or online instruction. This position is part-time and as an adjunct will be limited to teaching a maximum contact hours of 28 hours per week. Under general supervision, adjuncts will plan and implement curriculum for assigned course(s); effectively communicate class content to students in an online or face-to-face environment; evaluate students' progress in attaining goals, objectives, and student learning outcomes; assist in retention efforts Duties & Responsibilities: This posting is open for continued recruitment of individuals seeking employment for this position. This pool position allows applicants to be considered for every adjunct position that becomes available. Support and enhance DNP students in developing inter-professional and intra-professional skills, doctoral writing skills, and leadership skills in conducting the DNP project and its associated project paper. These attributes will be developed within the construct of course guidelines. Maintain rigor of the DNP project by ensuring scholarly and doctoral writing, appropriate literature references, and reviews. Assuring the project is multi-dimensional, is education, and/or quality improvement, or safety oriented all while using APA standards.
