Part Time - CNA ACCSS/Director/Instructor The Blinn College District is searching for a Part Time - CNA ACCSS/Director/Instructor at our Schulenburg Campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below: Job Summary The Dual Credit (DC) Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Instructor/Director is a faculty member who has responsibility to ensure that NATCEP course objectives are met through provisions of assigned lecture, lab and clinical content in the CNA courses. Additionally, the director is responsible for maintaining student and state records and reporting to DADS. The DC CNA instructor is accountable to the Program Director of the Vocational Nursing Program and the Dean of Health Sciences. Principal AccountabilitiesGathers and maintains all student/course information Reports required information directly to DADS Provides lectures and hands-on instruction according to the NATCEP objectives including clinical supervision in an approved LTC facility Follows the published schedule of classes Prepares course syllabus which shall include stated objectives for the course, following departmental and College requirements Covers all course competencies in instruction, skills and clinical Develops, grades, administers, and facilitates quizzes, exams, etc. used to evaluate student progress Maintain and provide, through the proper modalities, a grade evaluation on each student's performance in a timely fashion with the frequency required by Blinn College and in alignment with college and departmental requirements. Maintains knowledge of, and exhibits, current methodology in instruction Manage classroom activities by enforcing standards, rules, and regulations Provides feedback to the Program Director on course progress, suggested improvements, or problems that may impact program quality or stability Maintain documentation according to college and program policy.
