ONLINE ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR - ACCOUNTING SUMMARY The Online Adjunct Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, student-centered instruction in an online learning environment. Responsibilities include preparing and facilitating institution-provided online coursework, maintaining an effective virtual classroom, and supporting student success through timely communication and academic guidance. The instructor is expected to manage classroom operations, monitor and document student performance, and maintain accurate academic records in accordance with institutional policies. This role requires demonstrated subject-matter expertise, strong organizational skills, a commitment to upholding the institution's academic standards and values, and strict protection of all student information and records. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Training Students - Develop assigned classes that include video lecture(s), discussion, assignments, homework and evaluation tools as designated by academic leadership. - Instruct and guide students in the online learning environment, as designated by the syllabus. - Motivate students to progress and achieve on time completion of the coursework. - Engage students in online learning activities by facilitating discussion boards, acknowledging student contributions, promoting meaningful dialogue, and providing appropriate follow-up questions and feedback. - Grade all assigned-for-credit activities and enter 0' in for any incomplete activities at the end of each week, and have the final grade calculated at the end of the incomplete period. - Grade the students' work in a timely manner and provide constructive feedback within 48 hours of receipt of work. - Maintain a cooperative and professional learning environment. - Monitor and support instructional performance standards for course pass rates through instructor/student communication, quick feedback, and instructional support. - Communicate with the program administrators on student progress, ini
