Two rehearsals each week Two to four concert programs, to be determined Effort %: 25% Start date of appt: 1/1/27 Expected date of offer: 8/10/26 Required Qualifications* Qualifications:Doctoral degree At least 10 years experience in a leadership position of a similar ensemble at an institution of higher education considered to be a peer or near-peer of the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. Proven experience curating and conducting programs and projects involving multidisciplinary collaboration A record of premiering pieces by both emerging and established composers A record of programming pieces by composers of diverse ethnicities and backgrounds Modes of Work This position will be expected to teach on campus weekly. Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
