Salary Range: $21.50 - 23.50, based on DegreeWork Location: On-Site Campus Location: Gateway Boone Job Summary This position will teach all GED subjects at the Boone County jail. Current hours at the jail are Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm; days and times are subject to change with notice. Job Duties: Prepare lessons for instruction on inmates at the Boone County Jail. Teach reading, math, science, and social studies to current inmates at the Boone County jail. Assists students with completing enrollment paperwork and TABE testing. Complete training as required by Kentucky Adult Education and Gateway. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent 2 years of relevant experience Earn a score of NRS level 6 on the 12/13 TABE-A within the first 6 months of hire. Must be able to work independently. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently and adapt seamlessly to fast-paced, dynamic environments. Skilled in engaging and supporting students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word).
