About this position
The Division of Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy at the California Institute of Technology invites applications for faculty positions in all areas of experimental and theoretical physics. We seek highly qualified candidates with a Ph.D. in physics or a related field who are committed to careers in research, mentorship, and teaching. Consideration of applications will begin on November 1, 2026. Applications should include: a curriculum vitae. a list of published and submitted papers. a research statement describing research highlights and future plans. an education statement that addresses the applicant’s thoughts on classroom and laboratory instruction, mentorship of students and postdoctoral scholars, and ways to foster an inclusive environment for the development of scholars who come to Caltech with many different perspectives and experiences. at least three letters of reference uploaded by the letter writers.
