About this position
Ohio Dominican University's English department is seeking adjunct faculty to teach first-year composition. Our College Writing sequence grounds students in foundational reading, writing, critical thinking, and media literacy skills (English 110) as well as research writing strategies essential throughout their college career (English 111). Our upcoming offerings are for in-person, weekday classes, typically meeting three days a week. The minimum qualification to teach courses at the university is a master's degree in the relevant field. Prior teaching experience, especially of first-year students, is welcome, and a strong desire to help students as they transition to college is preferred.
