State Street, South Holland Job Type: Adjunct Faculty Job Number: 00229 Department: Liberal Arts & Science Description Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Early Childhood Education courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom. Minimum Qualifications - Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Elementary Education or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Early Childhood Education/Child Development and higher education/community college teaching experience - Previous college teaching experience in the field. - Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred. - Previous online instruction required where appropriate. - Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation. - Must successfully pass a criminal background check Supplemental Information STATUS/SALARY: This is a regular adjunct faculty position with salary to be determined by the adjunct faculty union contract.
