Job Description: Continuing Education is seeking dynamic instructors and lecturers to provide high-quality, engaging learning experiences for adult lifelong learners across our community. Our instructors and lecturers present with enthusiasm and utilize practical, effective teaching strategies tailored to adult student development. Responsibilities include supporting the strategic goals of Oakton College and the Continuing Education division while creating an inclusive, empowering learning environment for a diverse adult population. Opportunities are available to teach specialized courses and workshops or 1-day lectures for the Emeritus Lecture Series. The Emeritus Lecture Series features three thematic categories: My Kind of Town - Chicago and surrounding area history, arts, current events and more (Monday afternoons from 1:00-2:30 p.m.) Passages - Humanities-based topics such as art, theater, history, music and more (Tuesday afternoons from 1:00-2:30 p.m.) Passport - Foreign relatio
