Time-as-reported (TAR) The University of Rochester School of Nursing is seeking adjunct clinical instructors for the obstetric and mother-baby specialties. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a RN license, and relevant practice experience. The School of Nursing offers nationally accredited baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degree programs. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach groups of students in the school’s pre-licensure obstetric nursing courses in labs and/or clinical settings. • Participate in required course-related meetings, program faculty meetings, and faculty committees as needed or selected. • Assist in student clinical assessments and grading assignments. • Serve as a resource/advisor/mentor for students. Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing • Current NYS licensure • Demonstrated record of clinical excellence • Superior interpersonal skills required • Post-offer health assessment required • Complete all agency requirements for clinical faculty compliance and credentialing PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Masters degree and prior experience teaching in a baccalaureate program is strongly preferred.
