About this position
The Division of Autonomic Disorders in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a candidate trained in autonomic medicine to join the Department as Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Responsibilities are expected to include outpatient evaluation of patients with suspected autonomic disorders, supervision of autonomic testing in the neurodiagnostic lab, and active participation in the teaching of medical students, neurology residents and autonomic fellows. Participation in autonomic section meetings and autonomic fellowship didactics is also required. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicant should have an MD/DO (or equivalent) and ABPN board certification, with eligibility for a California medical license. Applicants should have completed autonomic fellowship training or have extensive clinical experience in autonomic medicine. Recent graduates who have completed an autonomic fellowship are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong interest in clinical care and teaching, with additional focus on clinical research.
