Assistant Clinical Professor/Regional Coordinator (Non-Tenure Track, Part Time) Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The mission of the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy (the School) is to prepare students for lifelong success in health careers by providing an excellent, student-centered learning environment. We aspire to develop leadership skills in our students and a strong commitment to their professions, to interprofessional collaboration, and to society. The Assistant Clinical Professor position is a part-time, non-tenure track appointment at the University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy. The faculty serves as a member in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and the Regional Coordinator of Redding, in California. The responsibilities of the faculty are to teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, supervise senior Pharm. D. students during their experiential rotations, teach didactic and experiential courses, facilitate interprofessional education, schedule rotation sites for students assigned to their region, advise students, provide clinical or professional expertise to the host institution, develop new sites or rotations, and provide orientation, support and preceptor development to volunteer and adjunct faculty.
