Position overview Position title: General Pediatricians Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and, if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $190,000 - $250,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body. We are seeking both part-time and full-time General Pediatricians to join our Division of Academic General Pediatrics, Newborn Medicine and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. The Division has clinical practices in several locations, all serving as the primary UCSD School of Medicine clinical trainee teaching sites, including medical students, residents, and fellows. This includes a partnership with a large federally qualified health center (FQHC) system that serves many communities in San Diego. At all sites, we provide outpatient medical care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults aged from birth to 18 years. Our team is comprised of faculty committed to providing and teaching evidence-based clinical care.
