About this position
University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach in Japan for the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Information Technology program. Required Education and Experience: Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. 3-5 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Information Technology, Data Science, and Data Analytics. Local applicants only. Adjunct faculty positions are not eligible for UMGC sponsored logistical support. Applicants must have and be able to maintain their own legal status in the country in which they apply to teach. Preferred Education and Experience: Terminal Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. Industry Certifications in ML, AI, Data Science from Microsoft, IBM, AWS. Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred. Materials needed for submission: Resume/Curriculum Vitae Cover letter highly preferred Unofficial transcripts for all conferred graduate degrees with conferral date (or credential evaluations) Part of the selection process includes providing official transcripts.
