The successful candidate will teach two sections per semester (2/4). This position has the possibility of renewal, subject to favorable evaluation and annual enrollment projections. The successful candidate will teach lower division courses including ANT 174: Inequality in the Ancient World and ANT 175: Archaeology of the Americas. Teaching upper-division courses that complement existing expertise is a possibility pending student enrollments. Sections will be online and in-person, taught on our campus in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Required Qualifications: Ph. D. in Anthropology, with a focus on Archaeology, or closely related field. Experience teaching undergraduate Archaeology courses. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications:Specialization in archaeology that complements existing expertise.
