Posting Details Position Information Adjunct Job Title Adjunct, SAT Preparation Discipline(s) Adjunct Job Description Position Summary: Provide student-centered instruction in assigned course(s) accessible to learners with diverse educational needs and goals. This position will be responsible for teaching test preparation courses such as SAT Verbal and Math Preparation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Facilitate student mastery of core learning outcomes using the relevant and scholarly tools. 2. Provide differentiated instruction to meet the various needs and levels of students. 1. Plan detailed, relevant, creative lesson plans to engage students. 2. Complete orientation process for adjunct faculty, to include Title IX and other College Policy training 3. Submit and update personnel forms required for employment. 4. Provide timely notice if unable to attend class or scheduled meetings. 5. Submit class evaluations and other documents as directed by program staff. 6. Cultivate open-minded inquiry. 7. Promote cooperation and mutual respect among students. 8. Provide applicable and relevant classroom exercises and activities. Required Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. 2. Experience in teaching 3. Basic computer skills necessary for utilizing technology on classroom Desired Qualifications: 1. Previous experience with SAT or other Test Prep curriculum 2. Excellent oral and written communication skills 3. Ability to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace.
