No phone calls, please. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES: Adjunct instructors are part-time faculty hired to teach a specified course/s on a per-semester basis. The opportunity to continue teaching at the college is assessed every semester, and criteria for re-employment include: Attention to administrative deadlines (i.e., setting up course before semester starts, grading student work, tracking attendance), timely and professional communication with students and colleagues, and students’ course/instructor evaluations.
