Job Description Job Description George Fox University announces a part-time, adjunct faculty position in mathematics, to begin in the fall and/or spring semester, as needed. The School of Natural Sciences is seeking an instructor who is enthusiastic about educating the next generation of students in our growing programs.George Fox University, a Christ-centered community, prepares students spiritually, academically, and professionally to think with clarity, act with integrity, and serve with passion. Current courses are scheduled either two, three, or four days a week.See Mathematics Course Descriptions for information about the possible courses to be taught. New adjunct instructors are hired to meet fluctuating student demand, so applications are reviewed periodically and selections are made based upon the specific course needs that ariseQualificationsB.S. or higher is required in mathematics or related field. M.S. or higher preferred.Previous teaching experience in related fields is desirable (but not required).Excellent professional, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.A commitment to working with a diverse population of students is essential; demonstrated experience in this area is preferred.All applicants must express a personal commitment to Jesus
