Adjunct, Printmaking Job Category: Adjunct Requisition Number: ADJUN001359 Posted: September 18, 2026 Part Time On-site Rate: Monmouth University Main Campus West Long Branch, NJ The Department of Art & Design at Monmouth University invites applications for an Adjunct Professor of Printmaking position beginning in Spring 2027. The successful candidate will teach with demonstrated hands-on expertise in Intaglio, Photo-Emulsion Silk-Screen, and/or Book Arts. Part-time Adjunct Faculty members typically teach 3-6 credits per semester, with class schedules determined based on departmental needs and candidate availability. Courses are taught in person at the West Long Branch campus. Adjunct positions remain posted continuously to expand the university's pool of qualified adjunct faculty. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position. The Department of Art & Design offers an innovative curriculum in Animation, Graphic and Interactive Design, Photography, Studio Art, and Art Education. The department maintains multiple galleries for exhibiting creative works of students, faculty, and practicing artists. Printmaking facilities include studios equipped for all forms of traditional print, including intaglio, silkscreen, relief, papermaking, and book arts.
