Salary: Depends on Qualifications Job Number: 01633 Department: Business and Industry Department Opening Date: 09/04/2026 General Function The Adjunct Office Administration/Medical Office Administration Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction to Office Administration/Medical Office Administration students through the use of seated and/or online courses to promote successful completion of degree requirements. QualificationsAssociate's degree from an institution accredited by a federally recognized institutional accreditor in office administration, health information, business administration, or computer information technology and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline is required; bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in health care, health information, health information services, business administration, business education, or computer information technology is preferred Previous teaching experience at a community college or university Experience using instructional technologies, teaching online courses, and general knowledge of medical office administration and/or office administration courses is preferred Working ConditionsTypical classroom or online teaching environment Essential Functions and Responsibilities Lenoir Community College is a comprehensive institution that places primary emphasis on excellence in classroom instruction.
