Position Summary The Fine Art Department at Albright College seeks a part-time adjunct instructor to teach one section of Digital Video for the Fall 2026 semester. This course introduces students to the fundamentals of video production, including camera work, editing, sound, and narrative/visual storytelling using digital tools. ResponsibilitiesTeach one section of Digital Video (DIG 201), meeting 2 times/week, in-person Develop and deliver a syllabus aligned with departmental learning outcomes Instruct students in camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and non-linear editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects) Hold regular office hours or be available for student consultation Assess student work and submit grades in accordance with institutional deadlines Maintain a safe, well-organized studio environment QualificationsMFA in Film, Video, Media Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) Demonstrated teaching experience at the college level preferred Proficiency in digital video production and industry-standard editing software Active practice as a filmmaker, videographer, or media artist; screening/exhibition history a plus
