Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Dean of Nursing, the Adjunct Faculty member for the Online RN-to-BSN Program provides high-quality, student-centered online nursing education in assigned courses. The Adjunct Faculty member facilitates achievement of course and end-of-program student learning outcomes through evidence-based teaching, meaningful faculty-student interaction, assessment and evaluation, and effective use of instructional technology. The faculty member participates in course and curriculum evaluation, assessment of student learning, and continuous program improvement consistent with College policies, applicable regulatory requirements, and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) Standards and Criteria. EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an appropriately accredited institution required; doctoral degree in nursing or a related field preferred. Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing and consistent with assigned teaching responsibilities and applicable regulatory requirements. Minimum of two (2) years of professional nursing experience or equivalent experience appropriate to assigned teaching responsibilities.
