Position Description The successful candidate will teach courses relevant to their professional experience. Courses include, by are not limited to, Cardiovascular Assessment and Prescription, Neuromuscular Assessment and Prescription, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology and Lab, and Physical Activity Considerations for Diverse Populations. Minimum Qualifications B.S. in Exercise Science or a closely related field Demonstrated teaching experience Certifications by governing bodies (ACSM/NSCA) in field of experience Strong commitment to student-centered pedagogy Preferred Qualifications M.S. in Exercise Science or a closely related field Prior teaching experience at the college level Application Materials Letter of application Current CV, including contact information for two references About the Department The Department of Applied Exercise Science develops knowledgeable and skilled exercise science professionals, engages in collaborative research, and applied theoretical and practical expertise to enhance our community's health and well-being.
