About this role Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities. Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan. Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment. Varies What an Adjunct Instructor's Day looks like: Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices. This activity includes developing and maintaining manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards. Analyzes class and program needs of the College. Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses. Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates. Maintains calendar as necessary to track these schedules and adjusts as required. Assist students and program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities We'd love to hear from you if you have the following: Education and Experience:Associate degree or higher desired. Minimum academic preparation must be at the same level the instructor is teaching Specialized training/industry certifications (current State of Florida Massage Therapy license required) and competence gained through two years full-time work experien K
