Job Summary: The Adjunct Instructor for Anthropology is responsible for teaching part-time within the program. The successful Adjunct Instructor for Anthropology must possess the academic and practical expertise to guide student learning and success, and to serve as a mentor and model for students. This position will demonstrate strong instructional skills and engage a diverse student body using traditional, nontraditional, and innovative methods of instruction and effectively structure classes and curriculum to support program and course outcomes. The Behavioral Science Department is committed to student-centered teaching that fosters personal and academic success of our students, who are predominantly first-generation and from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education. Ideal candidates will be able to help transition new students into the college experience.
