Incumbents must teach all assigned classes and hours as determined by the semester course schedule; Incumbents will be required to prepare and deliver relevant curriculum to students, using a variety of teaching methods to include, but are not limited to, lectures, class discussions, demonstration labs, and projects. The University of the District of Columbia – Division of Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Division (UDC-WDLL), a branch of the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), is seeking enthusiastic and qualified adjunct instructors interested in teaching: Child Development Associate (CDA) instructional hours as a two-part course CDA I and II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Provide hands-on, guided, differentiated instruction to students enrolled in the courses as specified in the schedule and course contract. • Participate in evaluating and selecting assigned text and instructional materials; prepare course materials and lesson plans. • Conduct efficient and effective classroom management. • Provide students with an approved syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes, teaching methodology, attendance policies in line with those of the institution, texts and readings, assignments and deliverables, timelines, and evaluation criteria. • Use the institution’s learning management system to post syllabus, assign
