Campus: St. Paul Employment Type: Adjunct Faculty FLSA Status: Exempt/Salaried OVERVIEW The University of St. Thomas Psychology Department invites applications for an adjunct faculty appointment to teach PSYC 202: Lifespan Development, a foundational undergraduate course examining prenatal development through late adulthood, including physical growth, brain development, cognitive changes, emotional and social development, and research designs. The department anticipates a need for one to two sections for Spring 2027, with additional teaching opportunities possible in future semesters based on department needs and enrollments. We are particularly interested in candidates with academic training and/or teaching experience in developmental psychology, human development, lifespan development, or a closely related area. Candidates with experience teaching lifespan or developmental psychology at the undergraduate level are especially encouraged to apply. All courses are taught in-person on the St. Paul campus of the University of St. Thomas. The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5,994 to $6,717 (per 4 credit undergraduate course, 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience. Teaching load generally ranges from one to two lectures sections per semester, depending upon department needs and enrollments.
