Part-time faculty may be needed to teach for selected day, evening, weekend, and on-line classes at any of our campus locations. Part-time instructors are paid $515.00 per college credit hour. Instructor hired will be asked to teach one or more of the following classes: GEO 152 Regional Geography of the World. Job Duties: - Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials. - Provides instruction to students in the subject area. - Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment, attendance/activity and progress. - Utilizes approved online course template and syllabus format. Minimum Qualifications: - Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in field. - Credential must be granted from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. - A passion for teaching undergraduate students and an ability to work with a team effectively is essential to success in this position. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with online teaching is preferred. - Teaching and Blackboard experience preferred. Additional Skills Requested:
