Adjunct Faculty - Social Science and Policy Studies Location: Worcester, Massachusetts Department: Social Science & Policy Studies Job Overview The Social Science & Policy Studies department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is seeking part‑time adjunct faculty to teach day and/or evening classes in each of our six programs. Positions will be filled on an as needed basis, and start dates will vary by course and semester. • Economic Science • International Development • Environmental and Sustainability Studies • Learning Sciences & Technologies • Psychological Science • Society, Technology and Policy Responsibilities • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the six programs. • Develop and propose new course topics as required. • Work with department leaders to design innovative and cutting‑edge courses. • Provide high‑quality instruction to outstanding students. Qualifications • Advanced degree in a related discipline. • Significant practical experience in the relevant area. • Successful undergraduate or graduate teaching experience. • Enthusiastic, dynamic, and willing to contribute to an expanding course load.
