Adjunct Faculty Position in Fine Arts Position: Adjunct Faculty Location: Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, China Application Due: Open Until Filled Type: Adjunct/Part-Time/In-person Time zone: UTC/GMT +8 Payment: 4500 USD to 6000 USD before tax for each course The university invites applications for short-term instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Fine Arts in a joint program with a U.S. university. Candidates are expected to provide in-person lectures, interact with students and grade assignments and exams. Course Description: All courses will be delivered for around 8-9 weeks, in-person mode. TIPS: Need to grade the exams as well as assignments Course List: 2026 Fall semester: 1. Graphic Design I 2027 Spring Semester: 1. Typography II Teaching Schedule: All the courses listed above will be around 48 teaching hours in total (45-mins equals 1 teaching hour), 8 to 9 weeks in-person teaching on campus. Normally, the spring will start and end as follows: Spring semester: March 1st to June 30th Fall semester: September 1st to December 30th The teaching schedule will be finally determined by the professor’s availability. Requirements: l Master's degree or above in Fine Arts or other closely related field is required for undergraduate instruction. l Candidates who are working or graduated from institutions with higher QS/US rankings preferred l Patient and enthusiastic for teaching with a high sense of responsibility; l More than 3 years’ teaching or training experience is preferred; l Understanding of the American higher education system, test methods and requirements; l Native speakers or European preferred.
