Adjunct Faculty - Nursing Posting Number: P2337 Job Title: Adjunct Faculty - Nursing Students Only: No Job Description Summary: Western Wyoming College is seeking a highly motivated individual to become an Adjunct Nursing Faculty. Applicant will be responsible for fostering student learning through effectively instructing students in the WWCC Nursing Program. The primary responsibility of this individual is to provide quality instruction to WWCC students enrolled in a variety of classes. Teaching a course over distance education medium, such as Internet is also a common expectation. This individual must be able to relate to a wide variety of students in the community college environment. This individual's responsibilities may include teaching courses in the Nursing Assistant, PN Certificate, and ADN Nursing Program. Travel is required. Additional duties will be dependent upon qualifications and interests of the applicant and the needs of the department. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides quality classroom, lab and clinical instruction to students in assigned courses, including but not limited to course work in the Associate Degree Nursing Program, Practical Nursing Certificate, Nursing Assistant, and other health related fields. May teach up to 9 credit hours per semester. Provides quality learning experiences for all students in accordance with their needs and abilities while maintaining the basic integrity of the course's standards and objectives. This may include continuing education offerings. Provides a safe environment and adheres to safety standards of practice established within the discipline. Utilizes syllabi, evaluation tools, and other course materials provided by the AD Nursing Program, PN Certificate, or Nursing Assistant Course to meet program standards. Teaches courses in a variety of environments and modes as required. Examples include teaching in the evening, teaching in the clinical setting, teaching using active learning approache
